Incorporated in 1998 as a Kuwaiti Closed Shareholding Company. Main objectives of the company are:

  1. Provide full range of hospitality services; including establishment and management of restaurants and catering services as well as providing related advisory services;
  2. Representation of foreign companies specialized in the food and beverage industry;
  3. Import/Export of foodstuff;
  4. Ownership in companies, local or foreign, with similar activities as of KFG

In 2005, Kout Food Group (KFG) acquired three of the food related companies of Al Homaizi Group:

  • Al Homaizi FoodStuff Co.
  • Specialty Restaurants Co.
  • MEEM Foodstuff Co.

As Al Homaizi family will continue to control the company in terms of ownership and management, this acquisition will:

  • Consolidate Al Homaizi core foodstuff companies and restaurant business under one institutional umbrella;
  • Establish a well-defined and efficient legal structure in accordance with Kuwait’s Law of Commercial Companies;
  • Design an organizational structure that increases overall efficiency, control and associated synergies;
  • Expand the Group’s existing or future franchises inside and outside Kuwait
